Safe Ride reduces smartphone distraction while you travel by car, motorcycle or bicycle. It combines recent speed readings with recognised activity so protection does not start because of a brief GPS spike alone.

DESIGNED FOR SAFER USE
Safe Ride activates protection only after the configured speed has been maintained for the required time. Hysteresis, GPS-accuracy checks and filtered speed samples help prevent rapid switching or activation from unreliable measurements.

Calls started inside Safe Ride are available only when a suitable Bluetooth hands-free connection is detected. The emergency shortcut remains available. If Bluetooth disconnects during a trip, Safe Ride warns the user and disables new non-emergency calls from the app.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Sensor and optional camera analysis run locally on the device. Camera frames are not uploaded or stored by default. Safe Ride contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no behavioural tracking. Settings are stored locally, while optional Fleet account and device-policy data are synchronised securely through Firebase.

PERSONAL AND BUSINESS OPTIONS
The free plan includes automatic protection for car, motorcycle and bicycle use. Premium and Family plans can add configurable thresholds, profiles and night mode. Fleet and Enterprise plans add managed users, devices and company policies. Managed-device lockdown requires an organisation to provision the Android device as Device Owner.

IMPORTANT ANDROID LIMITATION
On a normal personal Android phone, Safe Ride reduces distraction but cannot create an unbreakable system-wide lock or universally prevent every incoming call, message or third-party app from appearing. Strong kiosk restrictions are available only on properly provisioned managed devices. Never interact with settings while driving; stop in a safe place first.
