About this game

Vanished is an immersive, first-person puzzle adventure where an encroaching fog of forgetfulness which has robbed everyone at the Great Centers of Islamic Science of their memories and you must now battle against a mysterious foe to reclaim memory, history, and purpose.

To escape the fog, you’ll need to follow a trail of hidden clues and overcome harrowing challenges to unravel the mystery behind the attack and recover your lost memories before centuries of scientific discovery vanish forever. Decipher the meaning behind medieval artifacts that allowed scholars of the Middle Ages to map the stars, predict the seasons, and lay the foundations of science. You will need these tools to solve puzzles and survive the perils of this world in your quest to save civilization and restore lost knowledge.

Ratings and reviews

Was great up until the 3rd area. When I explore a room or area and return to where I came from, I can't go back into that room I just explored. Also when looking at objects in the side menu, the X disappears and I can't return without leaving the whole game itself. I will bump it up to 5 if I can see a fix on that in the future. Otherwise it's very complicated and I love that. I love difficult puzzles that test my brain. The puzzles are easy if you have an eye for them. Keep up the good work!!

Excellent collection of puzzles ranging from easy (towers of hanoi) to subtle (assembling and figuring out how use the astrolabe). Also a good introduction to Arabic contributions to early science and tech. I was a bit sad when I finished so quickly, but it looks like it will reward replay as well. Today I suddenly got that the triquetrium is just implementing the law of cosines, which was as fun as anything solved inside the game.

What an epic tales, it's really interesting to follow the stories and uncover the lost inventions. Kudos to all the team who made this masterpiece. One thing that concerned me is that the Cordoba, Listen to my tale, and Ghost in the Shell achievement seems wasn't triggered. I tried to play one more time, and the "Once more into the breach" achievement also wasn't triggered. So I'm not sure if it's a bug or not. overall the game is great, just some achievements that didn't get unlocked. Thanks.
