PINYIN AND TONES

Every character carries its pinyin and tone mark directly above the lyric, on the beat. Reading pinyin while you hear the tone is the fastest way to stop guessing tones — and you can drop the pinyin the moment you don't need it.

HSK VOCABULARY THAT STICKS

Every word you tap shows its HSK level, so you can see where a song sits before you commit to it. And songs repeat: a chorus hands you the same Chinese sentence five times in three minutes, which is exactly the repetition vocabulary needs and exactly what flashcards can't make you want to do.

MANDOPOP, C-POP AND DRAMA THEMES

The library is Mandarin pop — ballads, chart songs and TV drama themes, with new songs added on request. The Chinese in a pop lyric is far closer to how people actually speak than most course material, which is why a song teaches usable Mandarin faster than a textbook dialogue.
