HOW IT WORKS
1. Ask something. A yes/no question, a multiple choice, or a rating out of five.
2. Share it. Post it to the feed, send someone a link, or invite a specific
group.
3. Everyone who answers sees the results.
The results show the totals first. Open the breakdown underneath and you can
see how the answers differed by age group, by gender, and by country.
WHY THESE NUMBERS ARE WORTH READING
Most online polls are easy to skew. These are harder.
You answer once, and you cannot change it afterwards. There are no take-backs
and no second votes, which is the whole reason the totals mean anything.
Your individual answer is never shown to anyone. Not to the person who asked,
not to other people answering, not anywhere in the app. Only grouped totals
are ever published.
A group only appears once at least 25 people are in it. If four people from
one country answered, that country is not shown at all — not as a small
number, not as zero, it simply is not there. You will sometimes see a
breakdown with a row missing, and that is why.
Your profile is optional, all of it. Skip it and your answers still count in
every total. They just will not appear in any of the group breakdowns.
ASKING A SMALLER GROUP
Not every question belongs in public.
PUBLIC — anyone can find it in the feed and answer it.
LINK ONLY — it never appears in the feed. Only people you send the link to
can answer, and they can pass it on.
INVITE ONLY — only people who open your invite can answer. You can revoke the
invite later, and remove people who already joined.
YOU DO NOT NEED AN ACCOUNT TO ANSWER
Browsing and answering need no sign-up at all. You only create an account when
you want to publish a question of your own — so that people can see who asked
it, and so we can act on reports.
