Robot works after configuring right out of the box. Beware of who you purchase from. Do not buy open product. If it's not sealed in plastic don't bother trying to set up. This is my 4th purchase. You're lucky if it last over a year. Manufacturer need to work on a more robust battery or maybe a way for consumers to purchase a replacement battery. This is my last purchase until a newer version is available. Oh. by the way, I always buy from a reputable retailer.

The battery only lasts long enough to move the Bot about 200 feet brand new and never could record audio. Motion detection is delayed and can only record 10 seconds instead of recording until subject has left the area then it just DIED completely after about a year, just wouldn't power up one day.

[ UPDATE! If you're having crashing issues with the setup. You can try to turn off your mobile data. I was able to set mine up again by doing this.] Crashes everytime on my Samsung S10+ My wife also has an S10+ and it does the same thing.The app will make the phone do a full reboot. This occurs during setup in the app.
