DESCRIPTIONS AND FEATURES:
- The user is able to register with a username, valid email address, password and a profile picture.
- The user can log into the DetectMe application with a valid email address and password, or via Facebook login, Instagram login, and Google login.
- Users can change their settings and metric system on the application to either Kilometers or Miles.
- Users are able to view nearby landmarks on the map provided they give location access.
- The app displays landmarks filtered according to the preferred type of landmark based on the setting chosen by the user.
- The app displays the user’s current position on the map.
- The user is able to select a landmark on the map to get information regarding the landmark including directions to the landmark.
- The app is able to calculate the best route between your current location and the landmark.
- The app displays the estimated time and distance to the destination.
- The app displays the distance to the destination in kilometers or miles, depending on the setting chosen by the user.
- The app displays this route visually on the embedded map.
- The user are able to store a list of favorite landmarks which gets saved to the database
