About this game

A handful of matchsticks on the table and one question: which match moves, and where does it go?

Palitinhos is the classic matchstick puzzle, with levels built one by one and checked by computer. There is no level here without a solution.

• Drag a match to move it. It snaps into place on its own.
• No timer, no lives, no energy to wait for.
• A new challenge every day, with a streak count.
• Hints when you want them: two in words, one that shows the move on the table.
• Works offline.

FIVE KINDS OF PUZZLE

Triangles and squares, for counting figures inside figures. Calculator sums, where moving one match changes the digit. Roman numerals, where one match changes the whole number. And everyday shapes: the olive in the glass, the dirt in the dustpan, the key that has to become three squares.

Difficulty grows with you: the first levels ask for one move, the last ones ask for three or four.

FOR TEACHERS

The game includes a PDF book with every challenge and its solution, plus two pages on running them in class: what you need, why pairs work best, the mistake every class makes, and what to do when nobody finds the answer. Once bought, you can save the file to your device and print it.
