**WiFi Stream: Watch Together** lets you stream videos directly from one Android device to other nearby devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network or personal hotspot.

Watch together in sync, or turn your phone into a temporary local video library that others can browse and play — without uploading your videos to a developer-operated media library.

### 🎥 TWO WAYS TO HOST

Pick a video using Android’s system file picker and enjoy synchronized playback across nearby devices.

The Host controls the experience:
• Play and pause
• Seek to any position
• Skip forward or backward by 10 seconds
• Keep Joiners aligned with synchronization and drift correction

Joiners automatically follow the Host’s playback position, making it ideal for watching a video together across phones, tablets, and compatible Android TV devices.

**SHARE FILES**

Turn your device into a temporary local video library.

Select up to **25 videos** and make them available to nearby Joiners. They can:

• Browse available video names and details
• Choose what they want to watch
• Play, pause, seek, and skip independently
• Watch different videos at the same time

The Host keeps the library available without needing to play the videos.

Each Joiner has their own playback session, so one person's controls won't interrupt anyone else.

### 📡 EASY NEARBY CONNECTION

When devices are on the same local network, WiFi Stream can automatically discover available Hosts.

If automatic discovery isn't available, Joiners can connect manually using the complete invitation provided by the Host.

No complicated media server setup is required.

Compatible Android TV devices can join a nearby Host and play shared videos using controls designed to work with supported TV remotes.

### 🔒 YOUR VIDEOS STAY LOCAL

Selected videos are streamed directly from the **Host device to Joiners over the local network**.

WiFi Stream does not upload selected videos to a developer-operated media library.

Shared videos remain available only while the Host session is active and are not provided to Joiners as permanent downloads.

### ℹ️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Two or more compatible Android devices are required.
• Devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network or personal hotspot.
• The network must allow communication between connected devices. Guest Wi-Fi or client-isolated networks may prevent discovery or playback.
• Video format support depends on the media decoders available on each device.
• The Host must remain connected and selected files must remain available during the session.
• If the Host ends a session, a Joiner may temporarily continue playback only from video data that has already been buffered.
• Local discovery information may be visible to other devices connected to the same network. Only connect to Hosts you recognize or exchange the complete invitation through a trusted method.
• Internet access may be used for advertisements, consent messages, and related services. Video streaming between participating devices uses the local network.
• Only share videos that you own or have permission to transmit. Do not share illegal, unsafe, or objectionable content.
