About this game

Solve a sudoku, earn a handful of beads, then place them one at a time onto a pattern. Fill it in and it joins your collection.

Bead Sudoku puts two quietly absorbing things together: the reasoning of sudoku and the feel of perler beads. You do not just get shown a picture when you win — you place every bead yourself, you can take them back, and finishing one actually means something.

■ Five difficulties that mean what they say
Difficulty is not decided by how many cells are blank. It is decided by how deep the reasoning has to go. Expert puzzles need Hidden Pairs and X-Wing; Master brings in Y-Wing and Swordfish. Every puzzle has exactly one solution.

■ A collection to fill
12 original pixel patterns to collect — capybara, shiba inu, panda, strawberry, bubble tea. Harder puzzles pay more beads. Prefer to skip the placing? Settings can fill them in for you.

■ Daily challenge
One puzzle a day, identical for every player worldwide, with three lives. Finish it to build a streak — and not having played yet today does not break it, so you will never open the app to a reset counter.

■ Printable bead charts
Finished patterns export as a real chart: colour codes in every cell, coordinates on all four sides. Print it or save as PDF, buy actual beads, and build the thing for real. No other sudoku app does this.

■ Built for long sessions
