About this app

Chronex is designed for the daily life of ride-hailing drivers in Portugal. It opens the shift when it begins, marks breaks and rest periods when they occur, closes the shift when the day ends—and keeps an organized record, ready to consult and export.

⏱️ WHAT IT DOES

✔ Records shifts, breaks, and rest periods with start and end times.
✔ Records the kilometers of each shift.
✔ Shows, at any given moment, what has already been recorded: recorded time, total without breaks, and recorded rest periods.
✔ Informative alert when the recorded time in the last 24 hours reaches 10 hours; weekly totals and recorded rest periods between shifts.
✔ Floating button and notification with quick actions: pause, resume, and change activity without opening the app.

✔ Record verification: closed shifts are sealed and the application checks if they have been changed afterwards — in More → Record verification, before exporting the PDF and when opening the Inspection.

🔒 YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU

Records are stored in the application. Toralle does not have a server dedicated to receiving them. It doesn't ask for an account, doesn't ask for a card, and doesn't log you into any platform. Fault diagnostics are only performed with your authorization.

If you delete the application, the records are deleted with it — make backups and keep them in a safe place, because the file is not encrypted.

⚖️ WHAT CHRONEX IS — AND WHAT IT IS NOT

Chronex is a record-keeping tool. Decree No. 7/2022 regulates the method of recording working hours and provides for several admissible methods, including a computer system or application with the requirements set out in the annex to the Decree. Chronex is not presented as one of the official systems foreseen in this Ordinance. It is not approved or certified by any authority, and its use does not exempt compliance with applicable legal obligations.

It displays the data that the user enters and does not determine whether or not it complies with the law. The user is responsible for the records and the decisions made based on them. If in doubt, consult a lawyer.
