Ratings and reviews

We booked this company for transportation from our Galveston hotel to our cruise terminal. They accepted the ride, then at pickup time told us no driver was available, leaving us scrambling so we wouldn’t miss our cruise. Later, after our trip, we called again hoping they could redeem themselves, but once again no rides were available. I understand they’re new, but reliability and communication are essential for a transportation company. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them.

App is cheaper than uber and lyft but is nowhere near as reliable. Hardly has any drivers and wait times can be horrendous. At least with uber and lyft they actually look for another driver if your driver cancels before getting to you. Velo doesn't. All in all they are a last resort.

App is barely usable. GPS function is trash. The app spent more time suggesting personal phone settings and addresses instead of just accepting pickup and destination that was inputted.
