VerseDB is a comic book database, comic book collection tracker and pull list app in one. Scan a comic book to catalog it, keep track of what you own, and never miss a new comic book release.

Comic book database
Over 1 million issues, 154,000 series, 168,000 characters and 87,000 creators from 9,800 publishers, major and independent. Search the whole comic book database and narrow it by publisher, creator, character, genre or decade. Manga series pages name the magazine each was serialized in, and a magazine's page lists every series it ran.

Comic book barcode scanner
Point your camera at the barcode and VerseDB adds the comic book to your collection in seconds. It reads the extra digits printed beside the barcode, which are what tell issue 3 of a run from issue 30, so a scan lands on the exact issue instead of the series. Scan a stack in one go and confirm each book before it is added. Your last 12 scans stay a tap away under Recent scans. Can't scan it there and then? Upload a photo of the barcode, or of the cover for Pro cover recognition. Pro reads CGC, CBCS, PGX and PSA slabs too.

Comic book collection tracker
Keep track of every comic book you own, issue by issue, with no limit on how many. Record condition, grade raw or slabbed, variant cover, what you paid and when you bought it. Sort and filter your whole collection by series, publisher or grade, and check what you already own while you are standing at the back issue bins, so you stop buying duplicates. See what your whole comic book collection is worth, free. If you have been keeping your comic book collection in a spreadsheet, this replaces it.

Key issues and first appearances
First appearances, deaths, origins and other key issues are flagged on the comic book itself, so a long box stops hiding its best books.

Pull list and new comic book releases
New comic book day is Wednesday. Browse upcoming releases week by week, filter by publisher or format, and add a series to your pull list with one tap. Widgets put this week's comic books on your home screen. Live crowdfunding campaigns show on series and publisher pages.

Comic book values (Pro)
Estimated values low, mid and high, prices by grade, values by variant cover, and graded census data with population counts. Each estimate is drawn from the sales recorded in a recent window, and VerseDB shows how many that was and how fresh, never the individual sales. Follow your comic book collection's value over time on a market history chart, and get a suggested market value for each copy at its grade when you edit it.

Reading progress
Mark a comic book read with one tap, track your way through a run or a crossover, and set a reading goal for the year. Each series you read gets a stats card, and Pro adds your year in review.

Wishlist and missing issues
Keep a wishlist of the back issues you are still hunting, and see which issues are missing from the runs you collect. Wishlist alerts show the final order cutoff (FOC) and release date for each issue, with an optional weekly email, and flag price drops with Pro.

Lists and reading orders
Build your own lists, and browse reading orders and themed collections from other collectors to find a way into any event, story arc or character.

Comic shop locator
Find your local comic book shop on a map. 5,000 shops across 31 countries, with hours, directions and the ones you save.

Reviews and community
Rate any comic book from half a star to five, write a review, and see what other collectors thought before you start a new series. Follow creators, characters, publishers and teams, and their new comic books surface in your feed. Rate and review the comics you own right from your collection.
