HomeSense turns the sensors already in your phone into a clear, friendly toolkit for your home, your environment, and your daily habits — all in one app, with no account required. Your data stays on your phone.

A live snapshot of where you are: light level (lux), sound level (dB), pressure, magnetic field, temperature and humidity (when your device exposes them). Name your places, browse the history, see the trends.

★ Environment readings
• Light (lux) — is your reading area bright enough?
• Noise (dB) — real-time sound level chart
• Magnetic field — compass and magnetometer readings
• Motion / vibration — accelerometer and gyroscope
• Pressure and step count — barometer + pedometer

★ Weather and air quality
Live weather, temperature, wind, air quality index, pollen and UV via Open-Meteo's free public service. Your location is rounded to roughly 10 km accuracy before being sent — your exact GPS coordinates never leave the device.

★ Discover
• Nearby WiFi networks and signal strength (shown only on your device — never uploaded)
• Internet speed test (Cloudflare endpoint)
• Panic alarm: prepares an SMS draft to a contact you chose (you decide whether to send — never sent automatically)

★ Me — get to know yourself (recreational)
Run a quick check-in that bundles a few measurements into one snapshot, and let a Body Battery score sum up your current state from your latest readings:
• Finger pulse (PPG) via the camera flash — with heart-rate variability (HRV)
• Breathing rhythm and a balance test
• An on-device mood estimate that blends voice, face and physiological signals
• Per-context comparison (home / work / after sport) and simple day-to-day trends
• Hearing-range test and spectrogram

★ Local-first by design
HomeSense has no backend of its own. Your sensor readings, saved homes, and history stay on your device. Only a coarse location bucket for weather, anonymous crash reports, and premium-purchase verification leave the device.

• Camera + flash: for the finger-pulse and mood-estimate features (no image is recorded or uploaded)

• Location: for weather and nearby-WiFi features (exact coordinates never leave the device)
• Nearby devices / WiFi: network scan (stays on device)
• Activity recognition: for step count
• Send SMS: to hand off the panic-alarm draft to your messaging app (never sent automatically)
