About this app

The Society for Vascular Surgery's (SVS) sixth edition of the Vascular Education and Self-Assessment Program (VESAP6) is an online self-assessment education program for vascular surgeons, designed to meet the Maintenance of Certification requirements of the Vascular Surgery Board of the American Board of Surgery for continuing medical education credits and MOC self-assessment credits. VESAP6 was developed for SVS by Hypix Media.

VESAP6 is designed to meet the:

• Continuous Certification/MOC requirements of the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery by offering AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (Accredited CME) with Self-Assessment (MOC)

• RPVI certification and potentially recertification requirements with the Vascular Lab Modules only.

VESAP6 is an invaluable aid for vascular residents, fellows , and surgeons preparing for the qualifying (VSQE), certification (VSCE), and Continuous Certification Assessment in vascular surgery. VESAP6 is a vital resource to help you stay current with vascular surgery and endovascular therapy best practices.

The VESAP6 includes Vascular Lab modules to aid in the self-assessment for ultrasound technicians. Interventional radiologists, cardiologists, vascular medicine specialists, and allied health care professionals focusing on vascular diseases may use VESAP6 self-assessment to keep abreast of the current practice of vascular surgery and endovascular therapy.

CME credit or credit hours (non-physicians) are claimed by participants for each VESAP6 module completed in Exam Mode. Participants must complete the entire module, obtain a passing score of 75% or greater, and complete the module evaluation in order to claim CME credit or credit hours. If the score is less than 75%, the participant will be asked to review the incorrect questions and answer those questions until 75% is achieved.
