IMPORT AND REDACT

Choose an image or multi-page PDF from your device, then cover names, addresses, account numbers, faces, signatures, or anything else you do not want to share.

PRECISE EDITING TOOLS

FIND AND REDACT TEXT

On-device text recognition can locate text within an image or document. Search for a name, email address, phone number, or other phrase, then redact one occurrence or every match.

SAFE, FLATTENED EXPORTS

Export the finished result as a JPG image or flattened PDF. Redactions are permanently burned into the exported copy rather than placed over recoverable PDF text.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your images, documents, OCR results, and redactions are processed locally on your device. Redacted does not upload your document contents to a server. Your original files remain unchanged.

WORKS OFFLINE

Core importing, editing, OCR, and exporting features work without an internet connection. Advertising and store purchase features may require connectivity.
Redacted is useful for preparing documents, screenshots, forms, receipts, records, and photos before sharing them with other people.
