About this app

Vetofix is veterinary practice software for vets who work on house calls. Appointments, patient records, findings, fee-schedule billing (GOT), invoices, dunning and inventory live in one app that keeps working without a network connection in the barn, in the countryside or in a cellar.

Who is Vetofix for?
Mobile vets and small house call practices whose work mostly takes place at the owner's home or stable. Vetofix is not a tool for stationary clinics with a reception desk and waiting room.

The house call in one app
• House call planning with owner, animal and address
• Patient record with history, findings, documents and invoices
• Findings with notes, photos and treatment recorded right at the patient
• Your own multilingual text blocks for the sections of a finding, available offline and freely editable after insertion

Work offline
Vetofix saves to the device first and syncs in the background as soon as a connection is back. You record appointments, treatments, photos and notes even with poor reception. The status stays visible: saved locally, queued for transfer or synced.

GOT billing and invoicing on site
• Record services under the German veterinary fee schedule (GOT), including the multiplier
• Travel fee (Wegegeld) as a separate invoice line
• Create the invoice during the house call and hand over or share it as a PDF
• Request payment via payment link or record cash
• Corrections via invoice correction or cancellation invoice with its own number

Responsibility for GOT items, multiplier and travel fee stays with the practice.

Open items and dunning
• Record payments and part payments with date, amount and payment method on the invoice, even offline
• Open items per owner: open, partly paid, overdue or reminded, exportable as CSV
• You define reminder levels, deadlines and fees yourself
• Dunning letters per owner covering several items as a PDF, optionally with default interest under § 288 BGB (German Civil Code)

Inventory and dispensary
• Separate stock for the practice, individual vets and vehicles
• Transfers, batches, suppliers, minimum stock levels, usage and stocktaking

Team and multiple devices
• Roles for owner, veterinarian, veterinary nurse and office, plus custom roles per practice
• Permissions for cancellations, dunning and controlled substances, for example
• Several devices and vets work in parallel, syncing runs in the background
• Different fields are merged automatically, conflicts in the same field are decided by the practice

Switching
Relevant master and stock data from your previous practice software can be taken over after a personal consultation. The scope depends on the system and the export data.

Good to know
• Vetofix is in a pilot phase. Access is granted individually, request via [e-mail]
• Current focus: Germany
• No email sending of invoices and dunning letters, the PDF is handed over or shared via the device
• No electronic invoice (ZUGFeRD/EN 16931) at the moment, a PDF invoice is created
• Vetofix is a documentation and billing tool and does not replace medical, legal or tax advice
