VEYQON Capture is a contect capture camera that burns the facts into the photograph itself -- the exact time, the coordinates, the address, which way you were facing, how high you were standing, the weather, and who took it. All of it at your camera's full resolution, so the proof travels with the file wherever it goes.
Email it, message it, drop it in a folder. It still carries its own evidence. Nothing else has to be installed for it to be useful.
Built for people who have to show their work
Utilities, telecoms, construction, plant hire, facilities maintenance, pest control, loss adjusting, environmental survey. Anyone who needs to evidence what they did and where they were -- including a landlord documenting a repair, a courier proving a delivery, or someone photographing storm damage for a claim.
What gets stamped
- Date and time, with the timezone
- Coordinates, in decimal or degrees-minutes-seconds
- Street address, or the locality when there is no signal
- Compass bearing, with a warning when the magnetometer is unreliable
- Elevation above sea level, with its accuracy
- Temperature, conditions and wind
- Your name and ID
- GPS accuracy -- so nobody mistakes a poor fix for a good one
Every field can be turned off. The band shrinks to fit.
Works where the signal doesn't
Place names are resolved from data built into the app, so a photo taken in a basement, a tunnel or a dead valley still says where it was. No bars, no problem.
What you see is what you get
The band shown on the viewfinder is the band that ends up in the file -- same fields, same values, same layout. Nothing is added after the shutter, and a stale reading is shown as stale rather than passed off as current.
No account. No server. No ads. No cost.
There is nothing to sign up for. Your photos are written to your device and stay there unless you share them yourself. The only thing that ever leaves is a pair of coordinates, sent to look up the address and the weather -- and you can switch even that off.
