About this app

Make your home screen a car dashboard. Speedometer Live Wallpaper draws real gauges that move with your phone: your speed on the road from GPS, the power going into or out of your battery in watts, or how fast your processor runs. A speedometer wallpaper, battery monitor and system monitor in one, in 19 styles.

19 DASHBOARDS, THREE OF THEM FREE
• Classic: the 2016 dashboard, with five gauges, an LCD clock and warning lights (free)
• Steel and Graphite: Classic in satin chrome, or flat on a dark background (free)
• Future: a chrome dial with the song that's playing, missed calls and messages
• Vintage: a cream speedometer on a 1960s walnut console
• Amber Night: one big amber-lit dial over a dot-matrix display
• Carbon, Rally, Track Night and Circuit: race dashes with shift lights and glowing sweeps
• Torque, Prism and Aura: a muscle-car dash, faceted glass panels and premium sport dials
• Cockpit and Harbour: an aircraft panel and brass marine instruments
• Glass, Pulse, Vector and Horizon: glowing head-up displays in cyan, magenta, violet and green
Every other style is a one-time purchase, or unlock them all at once, including the styles still to come.

ONE BIG GAUGE, THREE JOBS
• GPS speed in km/h or mph, with the top speed of your drive marked in red
• Power: the watts going into the battery or out of it, so you see how fast your phone charges
• CPU clock: how fast the processor runs, on phones that allow reading it
Switch it in the style's settings, with a tap on the gauge on your home screen, or from the Big gauge tile in Quick Settings.

EVERY GAUGE READS YOUR PHONE
• Battery level and temperature, Wi-Fi strength and link speed, mobile signal and RAM in use
• A clock with the date and time, in the format you like
• Warning lights for low battery, battery temperature, charging and Bluetooth

MAKE IT YOURS
• Customize sets each style's colours, glow, background and needle feel, and its own units, clock and warning lights
• Most styles come in several layouts. Make your own: drag and resize the gauges, then save it
• Copy one style's settings to all the others in one tap

MUSIC, CALLS AND MESSAGES (FUTURE)
Future shows the song that's playing, with its cover and the volume, and how many calls you missed and messages you haven't read. They need Android's notification access, which you can turn on or off at any time. They are read on your phone only: nothing is stored or sent.

TRY IT BEFORE YOU INSTALL
Every style runs live in your browser on vgraphics.gr: pick a style and a layout, change its settings and tap the big gauge.

GOOD TO KNOW
• No account, no sign-up
• Your readings stay on your phone. GPS is used only in GPS mode, only while the wallpaper is on screen, and only to show your speed
• Easy on the battery: pick Saver, Balanced or Smooth. The gauges redraw only while a needle moves, and nothing runs while the wallpaper is hidden. Android's Battery saver switches to Saver
• Styles you bought come back by themselves on a new phone with the same Google account
• Free, with a small banner ad inside the app. Your home screen never shows ads
• The Guide explains what every gauge and light means

The 2016 classic, rebuilt from scratch for today's Android by VGraphics.
