The app is obviously poorly made. When signing in, all progress is reset if you switch to a different app, so you have to start over and wait for yet another SMS. It won't let you use a camera unless you give access to local media files. After creating claims, valuable info from photos is cropped away. I have to HOPE that they were actually uploaded in full without any cropping, because there's no way to confirm this.

You need to call them to register your phone number, otherwise you won't be able to access the app or web portal for the first time. This is a terrible user experience! Not to mention that the number provided is from outside Ireland. It's going to cost me a some money and business time calling them, just to register and use the system. Seriously?! In 2025? Come one!

lack of ability to view claim statements in the app, have to log into the app to log the claim and the web app to see if the claim was processed. the claim statement then doesn't show your receipt nor the what the claim was for, you only have the amount to reference and go trawling through receipts to find out what receipt was denied. long wait time to speak to anyone. With the amount customers have to pay VHi for insurance, i expect better IT and app infrastructure to support.
