About this app

Via Fidelis is a traditional Catholic house of prayer: a few places, a few practices, and a great deal of silence. Free, no advertising.

THE ROSARY, IN PINK
Following the tradition of Pauline Jaricot's Living Rosary, a Rose brings together fifteen people. Each prays their rosary daily, meditating more particularly on one of the fifteen mysteries: together, the Rose embraces the entire rosary. You see who has prayed, you carry the intentions of the others, and when the whole group has prayed, it closes.

THE PRAYER OF THE DAY
• Today: the feast of the day, the prayer of the moment, and what awaits you, all on one page.

The chaplet and the rosary, with several methods (traditional, Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, Father Vayssière).

The Angelus at 6 a.m., noon, and 6 p.m., and the Regina Caeli during Eastertide. • The Divine Office (Lauds, Vespers, Compline…), the daily Missal, the traditional liturgical calendar.

• The Stations of the Cross, the examination of conscience, novenas in keeping with the rhythm of the Church.

THE BELL
A monastery bell rings infrequently, but always on time. Your hours chime (in the morning, the Angelus; in the evening, your appointment); the Rose makes its presence known with restraint; nothing after 10 p.m., except the hour you have chosen. In the Android app, the Angelus rings with its bells: three sets of three strokes, then a peal.

THE JOURNEY
For Lent, the forty-two stages of Israel in the desert (Numbers 33), one per day: a text, a gesture, a pause. Alone, with your Rose, or in a caravan with your loved ones, and a printable travel journal.

TOGETHER
The intentions entrusted and carried, the prayer campaigns of Christendom, pilgrimages on the map, retreats in abbeys.

YOUR BOOK
The days of prayer are recorded in your Book of Hours, without classification: nothing compares you to others. Your dates, your deceased loved ones, your parish, and the year's book to print.

THE LIBRARY
The Catechism of Saint Pius X, the saints, Church history, papal documents, Saint Thomas Aquinas, formation programs.

THE SECRET KEPT
The examination of conscience, the journal, and resolutions never leave your phone. No advertising.

Via Fidelis is also available in English and Portuguese.
The rosary every day with your Rose, the Angelus, the Divine Office and the Missal.
