You got fired. Not by your boss: by Kevin, "the first 100% AI software engineer," who replaced your whole team on a Tuesday at 9:04 a.m. With your severance, a laptop with a worn-out Enter key and your cousin Juanchi, you open a studio in your studio apartment.
Twenty years from now you'll have a campus with a slide, your own AI model and a front-row seat on the day AGI arrives. But first, you need to ship a to-do list.
Vibecoder Dev Story is an animated pixel-art studio management sim. Run a startup through 20 years of an industry that never stops changing: from autocomplete to chat, from vibe coding to agents, from the GPU shortage to "imminent" AGI.
How it plays
• Pick a category and a niche for every product (1,300 combinations) and find out which ones click. A social network for cats, a trading bot for grandmas, a booking app for barbecues…
• Build on top of parody AI models, each with its own personality, price and quirks.
• Make the call at every milestone: who writes the pitch, whether to add an agent, who does the UI, how much to debug before launch.
• Face the 4 Judges and see the full breakdown of your score. You always know why it went well or badly.
• Hire, train and keep dozens of characters with their own traits. Careful: rivals make them offers too.
• Move offices, decorate, climb the weekly ranking, show off at ShipCon and compete at the Vibbies awards.
• Raise money… and then survive your own board asking for KPIs.
• Train your own AI model and change the rules of the market.
A world that talks back
The Timeline comments on everything you do. Named rivals, influencers posting made-up revenue, CEOs promising AGI every week, and a paperclip who was the most famous office assistant of the '90s and now gives you a hand.

• Relaxed mode (you can't lose), Normal (bankruptcy is possible) and Founder (hard, unlocked after you finish).
• A story told in chapters with multiple endings, New Game+ and a combo Encyclopedia that fills itself in.
