About this app

VicBudget is a private, on-device personal finance app that helps you understand where your money goes and plan where it should go next. Your financial data is stored on your phone — not on our servers — and an optional, password-encrypted backup to your own Google Drive is the only time it leaves your device.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Track income and expenses
Log transactions in seconds and organize them by category and account. See clear summaries of what you earned and spent over any period.

• Budget by category
Set monthly budgets and watch your remaining balance update as you spend. Quickly spot the categories that eat up your money.

• Plan recurring bills and reminders
Record dues and recurring expenses so nothing slips through the cracks, and get reminders before a payment is due.

• Track net worth
Record your assets and liabilities and see your net worth in one place, so you always know your true financial position.

• Multiple accounts and currencies
Keep cash, bank, and other accounts side by side, each in the currency you use.

• Visual insights
Simple charts break down your spending so trends are easy to see at a glance.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Your data lives on your device. There is no account required to use the app and nothing is uploaded by default.
• The on-device database is encrypted.
• Optional backup: if you choose to, VicBudget signs you in with Google and stores a single, password-encrypted backup file in the hidden app-data folder of your own Google Drive. The app cannot see, list, or touch any of your other Drive files.
