Pretty darn functional! I have used this app for simple things like reducing the resolution and more complicated things like cutting/splicing, adding text, music, etc. There are a few minor annoyances, but they're more due to the form factor and the imprecision of a finger vs a cursor, largely when trying to precisely pick a cut point. Rarely, the app will crash and lose the undo-queue, but never loses my progress. I also like that you can export to many formats, including gif.

I've been using the free version of Videoshop to edit TikTok videos since 2019. It's not glamorous, but it gets the job done and is much more user friendly than other apps I have tried. There's alot more freedom with how I edit my videos and audio, despite the limitations. Only complaint is how the app will crash if files are too big/there are too many files, but this is to be expected when editing on a phone and not an actual PC. Also the watermark is so subtle, I don't even mind it being there

EDIT: Bugs have been fixed and the programmers reached out for more info. Still crashes now and then, but there's nothing better out there. Was my go to video editing app. I even happily paid for the pro upgrade... but ever since the update in March, the video loads from the thumbnail screen in slow motion, and the audio is out of sync. I've sent multiple bug reports and emails. Seems like another update has been rolled out... but the problem remains. It makes the app completely unusable.
