About this app

VidRuby — Video Downloader, HD Video Player and Video Saver

VidRuby brings a video downloader, an HD video player and a video saver together in one app. Copy a video link, paste it into VidRuby, choose the quality you want, and the video is stored on your phone, ready to watch offline whenever you like. A built-in browser, wallpapers and home screen widgets round out the app, so everyday video tasks begin in one place.

🔴 VIDEO DOWNLOADER WITH QUALITY CHOICE
Paste a video link and VidRuby lists the qualities available for it. Pick a sharp HD file for a large screen or a smaller one to save storage, then tap once to begin.

📋 COPIED LINKS DETECTED
Copied a video link before opening the app? VidRuby notices it and offers to download it, so you can skip the paste step.

🌐 BROWSER WITH TABS, BOOKMARKS AND HISTORY
Browse the web without leaving VidRuby. Keep several tabs open, bookmark the sites you visit often, return to recent pages from your history and find words on a page. When a website offers a file for download, the browser saves it to your device.

⏬ DOWNLOAD MANAGER IN THE BACKGROUND
Queue several downloads and carry on with your day. VidRuby keeps them running in the background, shows progress for each file on the progress screen and posts a notification while the work is under way.

▶️ HD VIDEO PLAYER
Saved videos open in the built-in HD video player. Jump back or forward ten seconds, change playback speed, loop the current video, rotate the screen and switch to fullscreen, all from the player controls.

📁 FOLDERS AND RECENT DOWNLOADS
Your videos are grouped into folders, and a recent downloads list shows what arrived last, so the video saver side of VidRuby stays easy to browse as the library grows.

🖼️ WALLPAPERS
Browse wallpaper categories and albums, then set an image on the home screen, the lock screen or both. Keep a wallpaper in your gallery or share the image.

📱 HOME SCREEN WIDGETS
Add VidRuby widgets for the video downloader, the browser and wallpapers, and reach each one straight from your home screen.

✈️ OFFLINE PLAYBACK
Downloaded videos play without a connection — on a flight, on the train or anywhere the signal drops.

🔒 PRIVACY
VidRuby needs no account and no sign-in. Saved videos stay in your device storage.
