About this app

Viewcy is a member-supported, artist-curated music label and streaming platform on a mission to preserve our global musical heritage. We are a tool kit for streaming events and selling tickets. We are a community of musicians, music lovers, members and sponsors. Altogether, the Viewcy ecosystem has produced thousands of music videos of the highest caliber, and provided over $100k in support to over 1600 artists around the world.


The Viewcy App plays videos from our catalog, organized by country / genre. New music gets uploaded every week.


Viewcy’s catalog is artist-curated. Artists submit proposals to curate collaborative music releases called Sessions. The music is then available exclusively on Viewcy’s website and the Viewcy Radio App after the release. Once an artist has performed, they can become a curator as well. This artist-to-artist curation system started in India has expanded to Niger, Ghana, Morocco, and the US, with many other countries coming up soon!
The Universal Creator Income Fund (UCIF)
The UCIF is how the Viewcy ecosystem pays for Sessions. 90% of Viewcy memberships, 67% of Viewcy ticketing and streaming revenue, and 33% of the income from music releases all contribute to the fund. As we create more music, we generate funding to then create more music. It’s an ecosystem sustained by our collective love of music.

Ratings and reviews

This is just an awesome app. I used to go to the viewcy's site to stream both symphonic and contemporary music as an admirer of traditional, folk and classical music. But this app has just made that more convenient for me. Now I am just one click away from the experience of listening to transcendent music and artists. So far this app is an amazing experience for me. Recommended for every classical, folk and traditional music lover out there.

The app is fast and smooth. But I can only select a genre. Neither can see any playlist nor can search for any song. Also, having a home page with all genres there would be good. Overall good start but need some improvement.

I love this app so much, I don't know how to describe it. I have been looking for apps that contains traditional and folk music, thank you for making this possible. I have a complaint though it kind of lags I don't know if there is a bug though I can't even continue from where I stopped, please fix it.

What’s new

• Event posters now display correctly on Android - no more stretched or flickering images.
• The location map is back on event pages. Tap the map or the address beneath it to open directions.
• On events selling both in-person and online tickets, the buttons at the bottom no longer cover the "Similar events" row.
• If you've already chosen your styles, we'll stop asking you to personalize your feed again.
