VigilTime is a child-friendly screen time and focus app designed to help families build healthier digital habits directly on an Android device.

Understand Screen Time

See how much time is spent on the device and which apps are used most. Switch between daily and weekly views to understand screen time, usage periods, app launches, notification counts, and device unlocks.

Set App Limits

Choose individual apps or app categories and set practical usage limits. You can configure daily limits or apply different rules to selected weekdays.

When an app reaches its limit, VigilTime displays a clear and child-friendly restriction screen instead of a confusing system message.

Build Better Focus Habits

Choose a focus duration from 1 minute up to 12 hours. Start a focus session, pause and resume when needed, or lock the screen while the timer continues.

The VigilTime bear responds to each focus state with calm and encouraging visual feedback.

Review Focus Progress

View today’s focus sessions and check the focus calendar to understand:

• Total focus time
• Number of focus sessions
• Completed focus sessions
• Sessions ended early
• Monthly focus activity
• Number of focused days

Protected Family Settings

A restriction password helps prevent unauthorized changes to app limits. If the password is forgotten, a simple multiplication challenge can be used to regain access and set a new password.

Local-Only Privacy

VigilTime does not collect, upload, sell, or share users’ screen time, app usage, notification count, unlock, focus session, restriction rule, or accessibility event data.

Core product data is processed and stored locally on the device.

Android Permissions

To provide its core features, VigilTime may request:

• Usage Access — to calculate screen time and app usage
• Accessibility Service — to identify the foreground app and apply user-configured limits
• Display over other apps — to show the restriction screen above a limited app
• Notification Access — to calculate notification counts by app
• Background operation — to keep active focus sessions and app limits reliable

Each permission is explained before the user is taken to Android system settings. Permissions can be disabled at any time, although the related feature may stop working.

VigilTime does not provide remote monitoring, location tracking, message monitoring, or cloud-based child surveillance.
