The Event Vigil is a countdown app built for people who like to watch time move. You set an event — a wedding, a concert, a deadline, a trip — and the app shows you exactly how many days, hours, and minutes remain, displayed in large, impossible-to-miss digits.

Everything stays on your device. No account, no sync, no server. Just your events and the clock running down.

The interface is clean and direct. Your upcoming events are listed in order, each with its own countdown ticking in real time. Tap one to expand the full-screen view, where the numbers fill most of the display. The closer the date, the more urgency you feel.

Adding an event takes about ten seconds. Give it a name, pick a date and time, and it appears in your list immediately. The drawer menu on the left keeps navigation simple without cluttering the main screen.

When a list is empty, there are no placeholders or tutorials in the way — just a floating button waiting for you to add something. The app gets out of its own way.

Works completely offline. All data is stored locally and stays private.
