About this app

AI Sight is an Object Recognition app.
Simply capture or upload an image to the app and AI Sight will tell you what's in the image! The app will also speak out the results!

AI Sight can recognize objects belonging to 1000 categories. A list of these categories can be found at http://www.vikrambajaj.me/AI_Sight.html

Also, AI Sight works completely offline! No internet connection is needed. This also implies that the images you capture/upload to the app aren't made available to anyone but you!

I'm sorry, I'll look into it. Thanks!

Works pretty well! It seems based on MXNet, not Teradeep (the latter has a more practically relevant set of classes that I would be more interested in). It would be very nice if you could add an Intent interface such that other apps can pass an image to AI Sight and have it recognized without requiring user actions (no button presses of any kind). This would work much like your Upload option but without any user dialogs. Continue the good work!

Thank you for your review! AI Sight uses a Convolutional Neural Network trained on the 1000 categories of the ILSVRC 2012 dataset. Teradeep, if I'm not mistaken, works for 5000 categories. I will surely consider training a model on more categories, however that would increase the overall app size. The intent interface seems like a good idea too!

Unfortunately, it keeps crashing. I'm on an old version of Android (4.4.4) so that's likely the problem. I will try it on my main phone (Android 7.1) when I get a chance later.
