The fact that you can't resume a downloaded video, rewind or fast forward other than using the slider is ridiculous for a modern video playing app. To continue watching a 2.5 hr movie when I can only watch a few minutes at a time is beyond frustrating. These are basic functions and I can't understand for the life of me why vimeo doesn't have these simple features.

Does not play videos in the background (eg: when the phone lock screen is activated or when another app has focus). This is a key requirement for me as I mainly use the app to listen to presentations on my headphone whilst walking (with the phone in my pocket) or when driving (when I have my navigation map open). YouTube premium allows you to do this and I use this a lot. Would be very keen to see this added. Thank you.

Man you guys just don't try at all do you? Pathetic beyond imagining don't bother.The app sucks as a player. Why is it so hard to find channels . Great for downloading videos offline but it doesn't save your position well, turns off when screen is off (sometimes a video is stuff that you listen to and don't need to watch) I have experienced it resetting the video very easily. No back and forward options.
