About this app

A sheet of paper, a pen, and two fingers — SigNote makes you a hand-drawn photo artist. Three easy steps!

Step 1 — Pick a photo, or a video, as your "background."
Step 2 — Doodle on paper and snap it. SigNote removes the background and transfers your doodle as a "foreground."
Step 3 — With your fingers: scale, rotate, erase, recolor — and open the coloring editor to paint it by hand.

• Hand-drawn transfer: snap a paper doodle, get an instant cutout you can place anywhere — stack as many foregrounds as you like, no limit
• Cutout camera: aim at your paper with a resizable capture frame, what you see is what you get — or cut out a whole photo straight from your gallery
• Coloring editor: paint bucket plus colored-pencil, marker, charcoal and airbrush texture brushes
• Two-layer model: coloring and line art live on separate layers, each re-editable anytime; your edits persist across restarts
• Re-edit any foreground: change line color, adjust overall opacity, erase to touch up
• Paint right on the photo: recolor and erase a foreground in place, without opening the editor
• Video signatures: use a video from your library, or record one on the spot, as your background, then lay hand-drawn foregrounds over it. Boiling-line wobble with adjustable amplitude and speed; frame-by-frame high-quality export you can cancel at any time
• SigNote Plaza: browse, download and like everyone's coloring foregrounds — category and tag filters, creator pages, multi-select management of your own shares; downloaded works stay editable after you place them in your photo
• Filters and high-resolution compositing; save to your gallery in a tap or send it anywhere with the system share sheet
• Dark mode: the interface follows your system light/dark setting

Browse and download community hand-drawn foregrounds, and share your own coloring foregrounds: pick a category, add tags, publish publicly or keep a private cloud backup. Browsing needs no account; signing in with Google is only needed to share. You post under a nickname you choose — your real Google name is never shown. Public content appears after review, with reporting and blocking built in, and you can delete your shares or your whole account at any time.

• SigNote Pro — save and share photos without the SigNote logo. Everything else in the photo editor is already fully usable
• Coloring Pack — the foreground coloring editor and all texture brushes
• SigNote Video Pro — video exports without the SigNote logo (the video editing features themselves are fully usable)

If you bought SigNote on Google Play, SigNote Pro unlocks automatically after you update, and you are never charged again. If it does not unlock, open "Store" and tap "Restore Purchases", or write to [e-mail] and we will sort it out. Everything you already saved on your device is untouched.

All photo and video editing happens on your device; your gallery never leaves it. The only things uploaded are the works you choose to share to SigNote Plaza. No ads, no third-party tracking SDKs.

What’s new

Fixed buttons at the top and bottom of editing screens (such as Done in the line editor) being covered by the system bars and untappable on newer Android versions. Camera controls and the quick panels were adjusted the same way so they no longer sit under the status or navigation bar.
