Vinster is your personal AI sommelier — and it begins the moment you sit down to dinner.

It starts with the list. Point your phone at any restaurant's wine list and Vinster reads it and recommends to you the best bottles for your taste and your budget — each with a clear justification and all the information you need to make your final decision. Choose a wine from Vinster's recommendations and it automatically gets stored in the app as a Bottle Pick, saved to Your Restaurants with a date and location stamp. Over time, Your Restaurants grows into a personal map of where you've dined and what you drank, complete with your own ratings and reviews.

Vinster also acts as your Sommelier at home. Simply photograph your wine racks and fridges to create an in-app cellar which mirrors your own. Add bottles with the scanning feature and Vinster brings it to life — the label appears as a thumbnail on your live racks and fridges, so your collection looks as good as it tastes. Every bottle carries its estimated value and a drinking window, and you can add your own bespoke filters to keep your collection organised. With Vinster's help you will always know what's ready to open at its best, what you've set aside for a special ocassion, and where the value of your collection has grown the most. Your in-cellar bottle scans will automatically be added to your Label Library, a gallery, or visual diary of your wine journey.

The more you pour, the better Vinster gets to know you. Every wine you pick, rate and cellar feeds your personal wine and food character. Vinster takes what it learns and generates witty, shareable personality sketches — a living portrait of your palate that grows sharper with every glass and evolves over time. In this sense Vinster is the mirror of your gastronomic/vinous alter ego, with a sense of humour and undeniable accuracy.

Tell Vinster what you're cooking and its Chef function pairs the perfect wine to the dish, drawing from your cellar or from styles available in your local market - all within any budget or style parameters you want to set. If you've chosen your bottle and need a recipe, Chef can pair the other way. It will dig deeply into online resources and generate original, chef inspired recipes for you to cook at home, guided by your dietary needs and even the number of people you're cooking for.

Vinster allow you to capture every moment of your wine journey effortlessly through dictation. Simply speak your tasting notes into Vinster the instant you taste them — no typing — to build your collection of reviews, wine by wine. Reviews can be shared within the Vinster community which is currently under construction, or with friends beyond via other common apps.
