It is a platform that invites users to create, contribute to, and curate vehicle history reports. Tell your car's story with photos, mileage updates, service records, and everything that makes it your own. Build value in your car by documenting all of the maintenance, upgrades, and modifications that you perform.

Follow your friends and the cars you love so that you can see what happens to them. VINwiki is a great tool to keep track of what your friends do to their cars and where they end up down the road.

Ratings and reviews

This app needs a major overhaul. At least on the android side of things. Like other people have said, awesome concept, but the app isn't very intuitive. I made a post today and I really can't even see the post but I can see people have commented on it, but when I go to see what they said it just says, "Error" and some other weird jargon that makes no sense. If I could upload a picture I would, but overall very disappointed.

Previous app would just crash on opening. This one at least opens. I can login. Cant access home. It just says "can't connect to vinwiki right now." I can search cars and users. I can only view "others" lists. It shows I have 2 posts while right below it it says "no posts yet." ...? I enjoy vinwiki youtube but this is terrible. Edit: also, system back arrow doesn't work. You have to use the app's back arrow.

Edit: It seems the developers have abandoned the app. Not a single update since November 2019. I used to be a very big fan of VinWiki. Unfortunately, on my android it is nearly impossible to use the app half the time. From not completing posts to not loading the feed at all, this app could use a new layout and debug. There is very little regulation of what can be posted and people post numerous pictures of the same car from almost the same angle to get as many posts as possible.
