ViolationIQ lets you instantly look up New York City Department of Buildings violations, ECB/OATH violations, complaints, and stop work orders for any NYC property. Search by address (with autocomplete), BBL (Borough, Block, Lot), or BIN (Building Identification Number).

Results are organized into four tabs:

Stop Work Orders — most urgent, shown first
DOB Violations — civil penalties issued by inspectors
ECB Violations — violations adjudicated by OATH
Complaints — complaints filed with DOB

Data is sourced directly from NYC Open Data (data.cityofnewyork.us). Each result includes a direct link to the NYC Department of Buildings Building Information System (BIS) at a810-bisweb.nyc.gov for full property details.
