Constantly states my Internet is good despite the fact I'm sat with my TV buffering upstairs right in front of me, and 1 single bar of WiFi showing on my phone, literally an app designed to gaslight you. I was with Sky for years, and I never had any issues with the Internet upstairs. Now, constant complaints about lag, having to reconnect tvs. However on the scan it's good. Hence, virgin won't provide pods. Avoid Virgin, then you won't even need this app.

I renewed my VM contract a week or two ago and since then the VM Connect app has stopped working, all I get is a message saying "can't find your hub". I've tried confirming the hub model (Hub 4) and password under Settings, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, I'v e even tried switching the hub off and back on again but nothing works. The Hub itself is working perfectly fine, there are no connection issues at all, but the app no longer pairs with it.

Everyone below is correct and the answers are missing the point. There is now no way to use this app without it wanting to "optimise" your experience - irrespective of whether you have made changes like splitting SSIDs (I haven't, btw). So to use the app you now have to "optimise" every time which involves changing your WiFi password - with the knock on that every device then needs updating. Or you could not use it, which is where I'm at. Isn't even worth the 1 star required to post a review.

What's new

This update offers a new view of our planetarium, bug fixes and improvements to loading speed. We’ve also resolved an issue some customers were having with Homescan, where they weren’t offered a solution to their coverage issue.
