The Virgin Media Connect app is the control unit for your WiFi. It helps you get your broadband up and running and make the most out of your WiFi experience, all from the comfort of your sofa.

Take control of your WiFi:

• Run a super-intelligent WiFi home scan to test speeds all around the home
• View, manage and even order WiFi Pods*
• Pause WiFi to individual devices, perfect for when it’s the kid’s bedtime
• Reboot your Hub remotely
• Share your WiFi with guests via a QR code

• Manage the Hub’s settings, such as network name and password

Update: Reply from VM Connect is wrong. You "cannot" pause/remove devices from accessing the Hub 3.0. You can only view the devices you DO have and want connected. How do you disconnect devices old and/or no longer used from the WiFi? This app is useless. You pause devices and a couple of days later, you find that their connection has resumed without you doing it. And, you can't completely remove devices you no longer have and/or own. So, the point and existence of this app is completely lost.

Hello Dave, we're sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with the App. The app is designed to help with your wireless network and not as a management tool. To do the changes mentioned in your review you would need to access the Hub itself.

I can't belive how many times it can't find the hub/Wi-Fi pod. You would think an organisation like Virgin would produce something that works. The hub 5 & Wi-Fi hub is a vast improvement on the old hub but the app is still rubbish, also when something goes wrong, like the Wi-Fi pod becomes disconnected and needs to be removed and added again, the app is useless, it takes ages to get it working again and the app software isn't helpful. Takes several attempts to get it working.

Useless. sees my hub and booster, but when I click in to manage them, it can't connect to my hub. Help section is somehow even less than useless. edit- thank you for the response, but it's not in modem mode, and nothing has been changed. The app recognises both the hub, and the booster, I can see them in the app (I imagine it wouldn't do this if it was in modem mode).When I go to click into either of them, it suddenly decides it can't connect.

Hello Lee, we’re sorry you’re experiencing problems with our app. If you are using the Hub in Modem Mode or if you have made any changes to your network such as splitting or renaming your SSID's or the passwords the app will look to optimise this. All of the SSID's and password matching is the best way for seamless connection.
