The Nuclear Safety Council is the only Spanish agency with responsibility for nuclear safety and radiation protection. Its mission is to protect workers, the public and the environment from harmful effects of ionizing radiation. In October 1998, obeying Article 14 of the Law establishing the Nuclear Safety Council on information to the public, an information center was inaugurated.
This center is an interactive space in which, through a guided tour by 29 modules, can be known in detail various aspects of ionizing radiation.
It is divided into four areas differentiated by the colors of the panels, the first devoted to natural radiation, the second to artificial radiation, the third to the risks and rights of nuclear energy and the last to the Nuclear Safety Council.
This application will allow you to walk the grounds of the Information Center using a virtual recreation.
