SummitGuard is a climbing safety app designed specifically for Indonesia's mountains. All core features work WITHOUT INTERNET — because in the mountains, signal is a luxury.

🗺 TRUE OFFLINE MAPS
Lightweight vector maps based on OpenStreetMap — not screenshots. Zoom, rotate, tilt, even in airplane mode. Topographic contours from DEMNAS Indonesia data (8.1m resolution) and satellite mode are available.
📍 ACCURATE GPS TRACKING
Record your hiking trails with a real-time breadcrumb trail. Distance, elevation, and speed are all recorded. If you stop tracking, your trail will STILL appear on the map to guide you back. The automatic retrace feature activates when tracking is stopped—safety is paramount.
🧭 FOLLOW MODE + HEADING
The map automatically follows your phone's position and direction, like car navigation but for the mountains. Three modes: Off → Follow → Follow + Heading.
📍 MY LOCATION (FREE ROAM)
You don't have to be on a mountain to use SummitGuard. "My Location" mode lets you explore and track anywhere—city, forest, beach. Tap the top left badge to switch between free mode and mountain mode.
🆘 EMERGENCY SOS
Emergency signal via flashlight (SOS Morse code), siren sound, and automatic SMS to emergency contacts with GPS coordinates. Works without internet.
🌦 WEATHER PREDICTION
Mobile barometer reads real-time air pressure. Automatic STORM alerts when pressure drops drastically — crucial above 2000m.
👥 BUDDY TRACKING
Track your hiking buddy via Bluetooth mesh. No internet required — just Bluetooth range between phones.
📊 POST-HIKE ANALYTICS
After descending, see a summary of your hike: total distance, elevation gain, duration, and a summit card that can be shared to your Instagram Story.
🏕 TRIP PLANNER
Plan your hike: choose a route, estimate time per segment, calculate water needs, and target sunrise.
