QR & Barcode Scanner - No Ads

Vision48

About this app

Every other QR scanner is a hostage situation. Ads over the viewfinder. Popups if you don't scan fast enough. "Free trials" that bill you in 20 minutes. Vision48 Scanner is the exit.

You pay once — a small, one-time price — and that's it. No ads, no subscription, no in-app upsells, ever. Buy it once, it's yours, and future updates are included.

It does one job — scan QR codes and barcodes — and does it cleanly.

THE DIFFERENCE IS WHAT'S MISSING
• No ads. Not "fewer ads." Zero.
• No tracking. No analytics. No accounts. Ever.
• No subscription. No trial that converts. No dark patterns.
• No internet permission at all. This app cannot send your scans anywhere, because it cannot send anything anywhere. You can verify it yourself in the app's permission list.

Nothing you scan ever leaves your phone. Your history is stored locally and never synced.

BUILT FOR ONE HAND
Every control sits in a bottom thumb arc — torch, history, settings, scan-from-photo — all reachable without shifting your grip. Left-handed? Flip it in settings; the whole layout mirrors. A scanner is used one-handed by definition, so it's designed that way.

OPENS STRAIGHT TO THE CAMERA
No splash you have to sit through, no "rate us," no interstitial. Point and scan in about a second. The viewfinder is never covered by anything.

HONEST ABOUT LINKS
QR codes hide where they send you. When you scan a link, Vision48 shows the destination domain in large, bold type before you open anything — and it never opens a link automatically. That's how you avoid a malicious redirect.

DOES THE USEFUL THINGS
• Scan QR and all common barcodes (EAN, UPC, Code 128, PDF417, and more)
• Scan a code straight out of a photo in your gallery
• One tap to Call a number, send an Email, message an SMS, get Directions, connect Wi-Fi settings, or add a Contact — all handled by your phone's own apps, so no extra permissions
• Local scan history you can copy, share, or clear
• Torch for dim light, pinch-to-zoom for small or far codes
• Dark theme by default

One job. Done with respect for you. That's the whole idea.
