Tuner is a guitar tuner that listens through your microphone and shows you, string by string, whether to tighten or loosen. It also tunes bass, ukulele, violin, cello, banjo and mandolin, and has a metronome built in.
TUNE BY NEEDLE
• Auto mode finds the string you play and points the needle at it.
• Manual mode locks onto the string you choose.
• Chromatic mode shows any note, for any instrument.
• The needle turns green when you are within 5 cents.
WARNS BEFORE A STRING GETS TOO TIGHT
If a string is pulled well above its target, or a whole octave too high, Tuner tells you to loosen it before it snaps.

TUNE BY EAR
Tap a string to hear its reference note, played as a plucked string or a pure tone. Piano and organ sounds come with Pro, or open until you close the app when you watch a short ad.
METRONOME
• 30 to 250 BPM with a slider, +/– buttons or tap tempo
• 1 to 12 beats per bar, with an accent on the first beat
• Quarter notes, eighth notes, triplets or sixteenth notes
• Click, woodblock or beep sounds
The beat is played from a prepared audio loop, so it stays steady.

• Reference pitch from A4 = 430 to 450 Hz
• Note names as C D E or Do Re Mi
• A light vibration when a string is in tune
