About this app

The J.F. Dunne Insurances mobile application allows you to record daily inspections of the condition of your vehicle(s). The vehicle-check questions used in the app are informed by publicly available vehicle-safety guidance from the Health and Safety Authority, Road Safety Authority and An Garda Síochána.
Vehicle pre-use daily checks are a simple and effective way to spot potentially dangerous issues before vehicles are used. Owners and employers should have a system of routine daily checks in place to help ensure that vehicles are in good working order before the start of a journey.
The application allows you to complete vehicle-check questions, take photos of potential issues, and make notes of items that may need to be checked later. Once all questions have been completed and the check has been signed off, the record is emailed to your office or home PC. These emails can be archived to provide a record of checks completed on operational vehicles. To help maintain accurate records, all information should be entered correctly and accurately.
The application is available only to clients of the J.F. Dunne Insurances PSV Bus & Coach Programme and must be activated by J.F. Dunne Insurances.
J.F. Dunne Insurances will receive a copy of completed checks and retain these on the relevant client record.
