About this app

Codify is a code editor and compiler for Android. Write code, run it in a real interactive terminal, and get help from an AI assistant that reads your code. Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C, C++, Java and Go, with nothing to install.

One IDE instead of a separate Python compiler, C++ compiler, Java compiler and JavaScript editor.

RUN REAL CODE
• Tap Run and your code compiles and runs online, on our servers, in an isolated sandbox. Output streams to the terminal as it happens.
• Programs can ask for input. Type into the terminal while your code runs, so input() in Python, cin in C++ and Scanner in Java work the way they do on a computer.
• ^C stops a program, ^D ends input, and the arrow keys work.
• Compile errors and exceptions show up right in the terminal.
• Every run starts in a fresh sandbox with no network access.

A CODE EDITOR MADE FOR A PHONE
• Syntax highlighting for every supported language
• A coding key bar above the keyboard with Tab, brackets, quotes, symbols, arrows, undo and redo
• Multiple files per project
• A dark, monospace design that keeps your code in focus

AN AI ASSISTANT THAT SEES YOUR CODE
The assistant reads the open file and the last terminal output, so there is nothing to copy and paste.
• Explain what a piece of code does
• Find and fix bugs: review the fix as a diff and apply it with one tap
• Write tests and add comments
• Convert code to another language, for example Python to Java
• Write new code from a description
• Ask: a chat for any coding or programming question

Free: 20 runs a day, up to 30 seconds per run, and 3 AI messages to try the assistant.
Codify Pro: 300 AI messages a month (up to 40 a day), 200 runs a day, up to 2 minutes per run, and two programs running at once.

Codify Pro costs $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. Prices are in US dollars and may differ in your country. Subscriptions renew automatically through Google Play until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions.
