RawNFC is a powerful developer tool for communicating directly with NFC tags at the protocol level. Designed for engineers, security researchers, and NFC enthusiasts, this app allows you to send raw hexadecimal commands to NFC transponders and view their responses in real-time.
SUPPORTED TECHNOLOGIES
RawNFC supports a comprehensive range of NFC technologies:
- NFC-A (ISO 14443-3A): The most common NFC technology, used by MIFARE and NTAG chips
- NFC-B (ISO 14443-3B): Used by many secure contactless cards and identification documents
- NFC-F (JIS 6319-4): Also known as FeliCa, popular in Japan for transit and payment systems
- NFC-V (ISO 15693): Vicinity cards with longer read range, commonly used for access control
- ISO-DEP (ISO 14443-4): The application layer protocol used by smart cards and secure elements
- MIFARE Classic: NXP's proprietary protocol for classic MIFARE cards (device dependent)
- MIFARE Ultralight: Lightweight MIFARE protocol for simple storage applications (device dependent)
HOW IT WORKS
1. Select your target NFC technology from the menu
2. Enter one or more raw hex commands in the input field (one command per line)
3. Present your NFC tag to the device
4. View the raw hex responses from your tag in the output field
FEATURES
- Clean, minimal interface designed for efficiency
- Line-numbered input for multi-command sequences
- Automatic hex validation and formatting
- Share functionality to export command/response dumps
- Deep link support for automated command sequences (rawnfc:// URI scheme)
- No internet connection required for core functionality
- No data collection or tracking
USE CASES
- Debugging NFC applications and tag configurations
- Learning NFC protocols and command structures
