About this app

The XChange Data app is the data and internet access service provided by Marlink.

XChange data simplifies your access to the XChange user interface to manage your data communication via satellite.

Once ‘online’ you can use your preferred apps like email, Whatsapp, Facebook and so on.
Monitor and control your satellite data usage in real time.
To secure your prepaid credit, the XChange mobile environment disconnects you automatically after 2 hours of usage (by default). Ask your onboard administrator if you would like to extend the duration.


Main features:
- Mobile access: Access the XChange mobile interface just by starting the app
- Remember me: Just set your user account once and enable the “Remember Me” feature to be automatically logged in the next time when starting the app
- Local Intranet: Access any news, documents or files hosted on the XChange local Intranet
- XChange Media: View XChange Media content like News, Reports, Sports directly on your device anywhere without going online. (Only when XChange Media service is available on board)

I switched from infinity to marlink and I miss the infinity app. Xchange app is better than logging through browser (you will get disconnected every 3-5 minutes), but its still disconnecting and crashing the session during usage without any reason. It takes several restarts of the app to log in properly EVERY SINGLE TIME. They only plus is no ads inside the app. Hope the devs will fix the timeout issue and work on app stability during log-in process.

Extremely poor network, even in sailing. In port it doesn't work, it's like it is stopped completely, even we can't send messages.. There are many other players in market, which offer really good services like starlink and infinity. Many shipping companies and owner are placing starlink, because they provide really fast internet. If you guys want to survive then be a tough competitor...Good luck

It's nightmare to use the application. Shame on you, that after charging such amount of money, you can't develop a normal app. On Android 13 it constantly crashes saing it failed to connect to xchange server. After you press refresh it is getting back to normal stay but not really. After that when you try to connect, disconnect or check the status it's getting ages to load. After clear cache is working normal for few hours.
