It's a very good app. Plain. Simple. Would I like more customerized options? Yes but a pain journal is not supposed to be cute. Most doctors wouldn't take it seriously if it did. You can put every detail in it. You can even type in your condition, medications & triggers if it's not listed. Then you get I think 3000 character limit, not the usual 500 anywhere else. It also takes the info you put in & compiles it into an actual medical report for your doctor.

Thank you - "not supposed to be cute" is exactly the brief. Plain on purpose, so what you hand your doctor reads like a document, not a toy. If an option you need is missing, mail contact@vizaxis.com and name it - that is how most things here got built. Mateusz

A very easy and convenient way to record my pain. The lack of streaks is really nice especially, too many apps like this punish disabled and chronically ill users for not feeling enough to record that they aren't feeling well. I'm glad this app isn't like that.

Thank you. The missing streak is deliberate. Pain is episodic, and a day you were too ill to log is not a failure to punish. Nothing here counts your days or asks you to keep anything going, and it never will. Mateusz

This is a great app for tracking pain. Very simple. I only have a few suggestions for improvements: - being able to choose multiple conditions when logging (sometimes they overlap) - being able to customise what comes up on the doctor's report (for example, I personally don't need the diagram of the body or the chart) - words for pain that I personally would find useful: tender, numb, stinging, cold, hot, tingling/pins and needles, heavy - a bit more specificity with body parts (fingers, toes)

Thank you, Julia! A tip that may help right now: under the body figure, tap "Pick from the full list" and use the search. It already has finger joints, toes, temples, sinuses and jaw, left and right. You can also pick up to 3 pain words on one entry. The extra pain words you suggested are next on my list. Mateusz

What’s new

What's new in 1.6.1:

• Save the body areas and pain types you log together as a pattern, then fill them in with one tap. Two patterns are free.

Fixed:
• Setting an appointment date could crash the app.
• The first screen could say "Entry 3 of 3" over a journal of a hundred.
• The calendar could call a month empty when you had written in it.
• Buttons respond the moment you touch them, not after the vibration.
