"Watch ads to win" definitely rings true to this game. I'd prefer an option to pay to turn them off entirely but it's not an option. This is a very basic battler that is so basic it plays like an idle game or "upgrade" game. You play the same levels over and over with minor variations of each, while collecting upgrades to battle the increasingly difficult waves. I find it relaxing because it is so utterly brain dead.

Pretty predictable game. Each evolution presents identical challenges: increase food production to increase the speed at which you can produce fighting units. Rinse and repeat. There isn't a lot of depth, and while it's true that you won't be forced to watch any ads, if you choose not to, the game is horribly slow-going. You will lose a LOT of rounds (by design.) Very decent game if you like a lot of grinding. No skill required; just build more units than the AI can destroy and you win.

The game itself is fun and I've played it a lot! The negative is I was looking forward to participating in the events once I reached a high enough level, but unfortunately it requires connecting your Google account - which is impossible to do since it just stays stuck loading or freezes when attempting to do so. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.
