About this game

Five red lights. One blackout. How fast are you?

Lights Out is a reaction time test built on real race-start timing. Watch the lights, wait for the blackout, and tap the instant they go out — then see how your reaction speed compares to professional drivers.

LAUNCH TIMER — THE REACTION TIME TEST
The classic race start. Five red lights build, a random hold, then blackout. Tap the moment they vanish. Millisecond timing, false-start detection, and a breakdown of exactly how quick your reflexes were.

PIT LANE — CIRCUIT MODE
Hundreds of levels across five motorsport eras. Grand Prix circuits, Pit Wall gauntlets and qualifying rounds, plus a daily challenge that is the same for every player worldwide.

REACTION GRID
A 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 grid of targets. Tap them as they light up. Untimed mode tracks accuracy; timed mode gives you 10 seconds. Six separate leaderboards cover every combination.

RIVALS
Link up with a friend from any platform and you will see each other on every mode's weekly board. No rival yet? The game picks the player just ahead of you and puts them in your sights.

TWO PLAYER
Split-screen, face to face on one phone. Fastest thumb wins.

PIT PASS
Climb the tiers each season for cosmetics, profile flair and bonuses — tire skins, lane backgrounds, app icons and more.

TRAIN YOUR REFLEXES
Daily streaks, Google Play Games leaderboards with rolling weekly resets, achievements, and detailed analytics that chart your reaction time as it improves. Racing team themes, visual styles and custom app icons.

HOW FAST ARE THE PROS?
Top drivers have clocked race starts under 0.2 seconds. The average person reacts in about 250 milliseconds. Anything under 200ms puts you in rare company. Where do you land?

Free on Android phones and tablets. Cross-platform leaderboards.
Reaction time test: beat the race-start lights. Train reflexes, top the board.

What’s new

• The leaderboard now opens at your own rank, centered on screen — no more scrolling to find yourself.
• The corner button switches as you scroll: back to the top when your row is in view, back to your row when it isn't.
• Rivals moved from the floating button to the top of the leaderboard, clear of the list.
• New in Settings › About: How Leaderboards Work — ranking, the weekly reset, rivals and avatars.
