About this app

SocialMama connects mothers and expectant mothers who live nearby and are at a similar stage of motherhood.

Motherhood is wonderful and it can also be deeply lonely. The days pass in feeds, walks and afternoon naps, and a real conversation with someone who actually understands is hard to come by. We built SocialMama to change that.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
Find moms nearby
Browse profiles of mothers in your area, ordered by approximate proximity. Each profile shows her month of pregnancy or her child's age — so you can find women going through the same things you are, at the same time.

The community
Ask a question, share a thought, or answer another mother. A place for honest conversations about sleep, daily life, going back to work, relationships and everything else — without judgement and without advice nobody asked for.

Private messages
Send text, voice notes and photos to the mothers you have connected with. Sometimes a voice note at 3am is worth more than anything else.

Current status
Show when you are free — for a coffee, a walk with the prams, or half an hour at the park. Spontaneous meetups happen most easily when others know you are available.

SAFETY COMES FIRST
We know who trusts this app, so we built safety into its foundations.

- For women aged 18 and over who are mothers or expectant mothers.
- We never show your exact location. Other users see approximate proximity only — never an address, never coordinates.
- You choose what you share, and you can change it at any time.
- You can block any profile, and the other person is not notified.
- You can report a profile, post, comment or message. Every report is reviewed by our team.
- We have clear Community Guidelines and we enforce them — with warnings, restrictions and account removal for serious breaches.

PRIVACY
- The app is free.
- No ads.
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete account.

The pregnant woman who wants to talk to someone who did this a month ago, not twenty years ago.
