Stackroom generates QR code and barcode labels in the app, prints one tag or a whole sheet, and turns every scan into a check-out, a check-in or an audit count. It is asset tracking for teams that hand equipment to people: laptops, phones, monitors, tools, test gear and vehicles.

Check an asset out to a named person, capture their signature on screen, and check it back in when it returns. Every movement is recorded, so "who has it?" always has an answer.

Stackroom AI, built into the app (paid plans)
- Ask in plain words: "Who has the MacBook Air?", "What is checked out to Priya?", "Which warranties expire this month?", "What is booked next week?"
- Answers come from your own asset register, not the internet.
- It can act, and it asks first: check an asset out or in, book equipment, set a reminder, change a status or move an asset to another location. Nothing changes until you tap confirm.
- Add assets from a photo: where AI autofill is available, take a picture and the details fill themselves in.

Scan, check out, check in
- QR code and barcode scanning: point the camera at an asset tag to open the asset, check it out or count it in an audit.
- Check equipment out to a named person with an on-screen signature and a due date, and record its condition when it comes back.
- Daily work happens on the phone. You don't need a desk to assign a laptop.

The free plan includes the asset register, custody tracking and QR lookup, with limits on assets and locations. Paid plans raise those limits and add Stackroom AI, scan workflows, bookings, maintenance, audits and custom fields. Pricing is flat per organization, never per user.
