About this app

This application provides a complete television experience on your Smartphone/Tablet.
At no additional cost, the app allows you to watch live TV channels (including premium sports channels in HD), consult the Videoclube catalogue, schedule, view and remotely manage your recordings as well as send content to Chromecast or VBox, to anytime and anywhere.


To take full advantage of the features provided by the application, simply be a customer of the Vodafone TV service with Tv Box. If you are already a Vodafone television customer, install the Vodafone TV application and log in with the same “My Vodafone” access credentials or use a Box by reading a QR Code (through Menu > Apps > Customer Area > Equipment Management > Add equipment), access the best television experience for Smartphone and Tablet.

If you do not have “My Vodafone” credentials, or if they are not associated with the Television service, you can register a TV User on your television.
To register a TV User, go to “Menu > Apps > Customer Area > TV Users”.


Available features:

Live TV: watch dozens of live TV channels, both inside and outside your home.

TV Guide: access 7 days of programming for all channels and easily schedule recordings from the grid.

Video club: discover and rent more than 10,000 films and series at Vodafone's Video club.

Recorder: access your Box's automatic and personal recordings to watch or manage your favorite programs.

Send to TV: select and control your favorite content and watch it on television via your Chromecast (or compatible device), or via VBox.

Full Video Control: Double-tap the sides of the video playback screen to fast forward/rewind 10 seconds, or use visual navigation to choose the moment in the broadcast you want to go to. You can also watch the program from the beginning with a simple tap on the "watch from start" button and zoom the video to completely fill the screen, using two fingers to enlarge or reduce the screen.

Remote control: control your VBox using your cell phone, in a simple and intuitive way. Just have the Vodafone TV app installed and pair it with your VBox via the same Wi-Fi network. Traditional physical control features are available, such as channel zapping, increasing or decreasing the sound, playing/pausing, searching for programs , etc. If you have a Vodafone TV PLAY Box or VBox Smart, this functionality is available through the Google Home App, available on the Google Playstore.

PiP (Picture-in-Picture): you can continue watching TV on your Smartphone/Tablet while using other apps at the same time.

always logging out and most of the time I cannot login successfully while I use everyday and without issue My Vodafone...

When it works, it's a great app. However, I've been unable to watch anything through the App as it keeps giving me an error msg with a code. Also, every other day, the app gets stuck in a day and won't let me watch anything past that day (example, today is the 4th of April but app still showing as 29th of march).

Working well for now (Please improve the seeking method so that one can go to any second previous in a live transmission or to any second in a recording. Also just go straight to the TV emission when you open the app, I understand the marketing purpose of the menu, but in truth it is borderline useless. Btw this is less than a week of work))
