DailyDo was developed to offer family and friends a fully controllable to-do app, addressing gaps in existing solutions that lack essential features and flexibility.

It empowers users to create to-dos and share them with others, specifying whether the recipient is an editor or a viewer. To-dos can be sorted alphabetically or chronologically by the last updated time, ensuring that everything stays organized and easy to manage. To-do entries can be custom-sorted or arranged alphabetically, with the flexibility to nest entries up to five levels deep.

User registration is simple and versatile, allowing new users to sign up via email and password or seamlessly through Google Sign-In. The app is highly customizable, featuring a color picker for custom color schemes, dark and light modes with an option to inherit system brightness, and language support for both German and English. Additionally, DailyDo supports android adaptive app icons, enhancing the visual appeal and user-experience.

The app also takes into account various edge cases, ensuring a robust and reliable user experience. These include the secure handling of account deletions, managing the deletion of to-dos while another user is using them, real-time changes to user access restrictions, and real-time data updates.
