Voicy uses Android Accessibility Service to detect when a text field is focused in another app and to paste your transcribed dictation into that field after you record. This lets you dictate into text fields across apps without copying and pasting manually.

Voicy uses Accessibility access only for text field detection and paste-back. Voicy does not use Accessibility access to read passwords, record phone calls, change device settings, prevent uninstalling the app, bypass Android privacy controls, or sell accessibility data. You can turn this access off at any time in Android Settings.

This is the best app for voice to text that I ever used. I've been frustrated since the days of DragonSpeak and all programs since. Even if I seem to stutter or make a mistake, it realizes that and doesn't write the improper part. It is able to accommodate multiple languages at the same time. It works on my phone and computer and in all my text program/sites. This is fantastic. I recommend this to all my friends and colleagues now.

I purchased a 1-year subscription to this app as an alternative to another well-known speech to text app. The value is incredible. My new subscription plan costs 1/3 what I was paying the corporate brand. I've been testing this app on my Windows PC and also on my Android phone. The performance is excellent. BLOWN AWAY!! I've cut down my work time on my laptop significantly with this app! So easy to use and it's really nearly 100% accuracy. I don't even think I had to correct it once after months of use. It also works with 50+ other languages, and in testing, it's incredible as well!! I now speak my emails, speak to Claude, and basically any other field that has a text option, I'm speaking it! LOL Kourosh himself is incredible, replying to emails super fast! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
